About this project
A representative furnace replacement in Lehi. The existing 22-year-old 80%-efficient furnace had a cracked heat exchanger flagged during a routine inspection. We ran a full Manual J load calculation to right-size the replacement (the original was oversized by ~20%, which is typical for that era), then installed a properly sized 96% AFUE two-stage model. Homeowner qualified for the Dominion Energy high-efficiency rebate and the federal energy-efficiency tax credit. Single-day install with heat restored same day.
